Hooray for Valentine’s Day! I never knew how big of a fan of Valentine’s day I was until a few years ago when I worked at a company that licensed Martha Stewart Crafts. When the Valentine’s DIY crafts came around, I swarmed to it. I fell in love with the heart designs, the marketing photography and the color scheme. Deep sigh. Moving right along.
“Life is short, and it’s up to you to make it sweet.”
– Sadie Delany
There are so many things in this world to worry about, but that doesn’t add to your life, it actually takes from it. I’ve been getting more in tune with living and loving life and this quote by Sadie Delany is so perfect and appropriate, especially for Valentine’s Day.
Hi Lo Red Lace Dress
I actually purchased this red lace dress from H&M two years ago. I only wore it once for a holiday performance for Christmas. That’s the thing about red, it works almost all year round and it’s a classic color that doesn’t have to be on trend. Other than Valentine’s day, I could wear this for Christmas, Thanksgiving, birthday parties, girls night out, baby showers and so much more.
This look is:
quick
fun
Valentines-y
pretty
& comfortable
This dress is a favorite of mine because it’s super easy to put on and really comfortable to wear. Anytime a dress has one zipper or no zipper and not a tight fit, it’s a no-brainer for me. It’s the ultimate “go to” in the dress world because I feel my best and most comfortable in this cut. I think any woman tall, short, skinny, plus-size, no breast, big breast, this style dress will work.
X‘s and O‘s.
