I have been wanting to re-do my living room for a while. It’s like the same thing with every room in my current house. Each space takes time to think about the needs, the layout and finally making a decision on the right item for the space. I got a new living room sofa that set everything in motion and you are going to want to read all the features about it below!

Old Living Room Layout

For the living room, I felt it was particularly hard to envision a new layout. At first, I didn’t think a sectional would look right in the space, so when I purchased my old sofa, I ended up getting two identical pieces and facing them toward one another with the tv in the middle. The problem for my space is the weird cut in for the wall, the bay window and the stairs layout.

My new living room sofa has solved all these weird problems including storage for throw blankets, family games, kid toys and other random things!

Modular Sectional Sofa Features

The sectional sofa offers different styling combinations. As you’ll see below, I styled it with the ottomans all together so that its perfect as a sleeper or for movie night with my family. I also styled it as an l shape and the two ottomans side by side creates a chaise lounge look! There are so many ways to maneuver it and move the pieces around that works best for any home.

Sofa Storage

One of THE BEST features for this sofa for me is the storage! I do not like clutter, but I am not a minimalist. I like having functional things that make sense. My old tv console helped to collect kid toys for quick clean up and on the side of the old sofa, I used a basket to house throw blankets. The throw blankets and games for family game night are now perfectly stored in the sofa. I’m trying to keep the kid toys in the boy’s bedrooms! We’ll see how long that lasts! 😂
