Dammnnn, that was a long break. My last blog post was over two years ago! Whoa, what happened?
Here’s how it all went down.
In the past two years, I became a wife and then a mother and have been simply enjoying time with my baby boy. I put my life first over my blog and decided to just let it go after months of not posting any content. Honestly, I did not think my desire to come back to it would return, but yet it did. After finally settling into motherhood and getting back to a set schedule, I found myself right where I began, longing to share my advice and opinions on topics I’m confident about. I do regret not sharing all that I’ve been up to, but I don’t regret living in the moments with my family rather than setting time aside to write about them.

Recently, I decided to quit hiding behind my excuses of being “busy” and get back to it. My intentions are to pick up where I left off by providing fashion inspiration, ideas and helpful tips! I’ve uploaded quite a few archived posts and I’ll continue to put up more as time goes on. First up is this awesome winter look.
This is my first blog post in quite some time and I have to admit, I’m pretty stoked about it! In the winter, I’m always bundled up with layered sweaters, sweatshirts or scaves. I pair that with jeans and keep it moving. I wanted to try something a little different in 40 degree weather. This simple look consists of 5 items to pull a classic winter style off. Those items are a skater style dress, over-the-knee boots, a skinny belt, a pair of hoop earrings and a winter coat.
This look is:
cool
stylish
sexy
chic
& classic
You can mix and match this look with pretty much wear any color dress as long as the boots are a neutral color like black or brown. For instance, a navy dress with black boots, or a red dress with beige boots, or brown dress with beige boots, or even a green dress with black boots like the outfit I wore for my birthday two years ago. As you can see this look is classic, not trendy and even after two years, this style still works!
